….no, no its not a troop of talking Zoo Escapees- this is a beautiful selection of music fresh from the traditional Malagasy instruments of Madagascar. Nothing but happiness and rhythm.

What started out as an orchestra of the best musicians the Malagasy music scene had to offer is evolving into something far more dynamic and exciting. Their philosophy is to provide a place and a stage for newly emerging Malagasy talent, embrace new thinking and experimentation, to both embrace traditional Malagasy music and produce new modern compositions. Their goal is to release these to the world through releases in the near future and beyond in order to create an historical reference for years to come. This also gives the artists “staying” within the Orchestra a decent wage and a foot up in the world.
But the music…. the music is beautiful.
